The Integra Vivid is a 7″ high-resolution HMI color touchscreen display. The Vivid is used to visualize print jobs and statuses of certain Markoprint printers that do not have a built-in display. This includes the X1 Series and the PP Class print systems. With the help of the Integra Vivid, at a glance you can see whether the printing system is active as well as check the print speed & cartridge ink levels. You can also start & stop, delay, change intensity, set passwords, and adjust encoder signals right from the HMI.
The touch screen responds to thin work gloves as well as bare hands.
With its IP52 protection class, it is protected in dusty production environments and against dripping water.
What does IP52 mean? This refers to enclosure ratings. IP stands for Ingress Protection. It is an international standard of sealing effectiveness for the electrical enclosure’s safety against dust, dirt, moisture, as well as incidents with tools and accidental contact.
The numbers 52 have two separate meanings:
- 5 refers to solids. This means that this product is protected from limited dust ingress. This offers safety for the equipment against dust and particulates as well as safety for the user preventing tools or hands from touching potentially hazardous electrical components.
- 2 refers to liquids. This offers protection from vertically dripping water as well as when the equipment is tilted at an angle of 15 degrees from its normal position.
