Bulk ink supply system for Markoprint HP inkjet printers
The ZTV HP MK2 HP is a robust bulk ink delivery system with advanced features to meet the needs of high-volume print applications where superior print quality, low cost per print, and minimal user intervention is required. Pair this bulk system with a wide variety of Markoprint HP printheads for a solution that is completely customizable for your desired print project.
The 400 milliliter bulk ink cartridge continuously replenishes the 35ml ink cartridge that is situated in the printhead and offers you more than 10 times the amount of ink available in a single cartridge system. The bulk cartridge can easily be replaced without interrupting printing, preventing downtime. Real time ink level monitoring is made possible with an interface that’s integrated with the cartridge itself.
When the ink level is low in the 35ml cartridge a valve to the bulk tank opens and refills the smaller cartridge automatically. The filling level sensor integrated in the cartridges simultaneously prevents the cartridge from being overfilled with ink.
The ZTV bulk tank can supply one to four printheads simultaneously depending on which printhead or controller you select. This system can be combined with our NonStopPrinting printhead for completely uninterrupted production. Also compatible with Integra One, X2JET, X4JET, Quadro & Quadro².
Each 35ml cartridge can process a throughput of up to 1.2 liters before it needs to be replaced. This corresponds to three 400ml bulk ink tanks with a one-head system and 12 ink tanks with a four-head system.
If the tank ink and cartridge ink differ by accident, all valves automatically close to prevent mixing of ink and contamination of the system.
This unit incorporates SmartCard cartridge technology that monitors ink levels and ink types, via RS232 interface.
Because the system is regulated by pressure, the bulk system can be installed above, to the side and below the printheads. The height of the system does not matter, and an additional regulator is not required
